ITT is being used at MCV since 1998 for meniere's disease and sudden sensory neural hearing loss, we have not had any drastic S.N. loss, following ITT for meniere's disease.More than 75 patients have had these procedures and the mean success rate for control of giddiness is about 70% in meniere's disease. All the meniere's patients had pre and post op Dixhallpike caloric tests. Post Gentamycin ITT the treated labyrinth is noted to become hypoactive.
